Your financial support, along with that of the communions and many others, make this work possible. Here are some of the many ways you can support the ecumenical vision with a gift.

Gifts of securities  ̶
A gift of appreciated securities held for more than
one year is one of the most economical ways to
give. You will receive a tax deduction for the
market value of the securities and will not have to
recognize the appreciation as capital gain.

financial institution transfer them directly to the
National Council of Churches, State Street Bank

Named Funds  ̶
Many donors seek to honor a loved one, cause or
program of the National Council by setting up an
endowed fund that will benefit the Council in
perpetuity. Such funds can be set up for any
amount above $1,000. Only the board-determined
income is used each year, while additional growth
increases the fund to help more in following years.

Regular giving  ̶
You can support the National Council with a
monthly or quarterly gift. Pledge your contribution
by completing our gift/pledge form and returning it
to the National Council. Click here.

Planned giving  ̶
You may wish to leave a lasting legacy of support
for ecumenical work by naming the National
Council of Churches of Christ in the USA as a
beneficiary in your will or living trust.

You may also name the National Council as a
beneficiary of your life insurance policy or IRA.

The National Council provides other ways to leave
a lasting legacy including:

      to you for life, and then a gift to the National
      Council).
►  Deferred gift annuities (a current gift, income to
      you for life beginning at a later date, and then a
      gift to the National Council).
►  Donor advised funds (a current gift and tax
      deduction and the ability to choose other
