Ecumenical Networks continues its linking work of building mutually beneficial relationships between and among the NCCC and local, state and regional ecumenical and interreligious organizations throughout the US. Electronic and traditional voice communications, publications, consultations and conferences nurture organizational leadership development and provide opportunity for interaction.
The "CORLETTER" newsletter grows in circulation. It is published in collaboration with the National Association of Ecumenical Staff (NAES). Ecumenical Networks administers the NCCCUSA Recognition Awards for ecumenical and interreligious service. This effort calls attention to many worthy state, local and grassroots programs that help to mend the broken places in human community.
Studies in ecclesiology and the history of local and regional ecumenism are on the agenda. The redevelopment of the Donald Jacobs Internship Program for African American theological students, in partnership with the African American Network of NAES, is underway.
