Five NCC programs slated for network broadcast

New York, November 15, 2006 – Five excellent productions fostered by the NCC's Communication Commission are being aired on the three major broadcast networks this fall: 

"Hunger No More," an NCC ecumenical special in collaboration with Bread for the World, is running on NBC affiliates.

October 22, ABC stations will be offered "Troubled Waters," produced by the United Church of Christ, is being offered to ABC stations beginning October 22.

On December 3, ABC will feature "Introducing Jesus of Nazareth," produced for the NCC by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and distributed by the Interfaith Broadcast Commission.

On December 10, NBC stations will carry "Making Poverty Housing History," an NCC ecumenical special produced in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity

Later in December, NBC will offer a Christmas special from Bethlehem, Pa., produced by the Moravian Church.
