of AIDS in Africa – a 30 minute DVD and study guide
from Maryknoll Productions. Stories of people living with AIDS are
interspersed with commentaries by church workers, medical professionals,
and social workers. The DVD discusses both personal and structural
dimensions of AIDS in Africa.
Braving AIDS: Senegal's Way
– (FREE) a video and discussion guide for audiences over 14 years old, from
Lutheran World Relief, discussing
Senegal's strategy for responding to the threat of AIDS and the involvement
of an LWR partnership.
Epidemic Africa – (FREE) a 15 minute video for older youth and
adults discussing the problems facing children and families affected by
AIDS, and some programs that are helping. It includes an introduction and
conclusion from Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The video (VHS) can be borrowed
