AFRICA

  • Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa (CAPA) CAPA coordinates efforts to address critical issues in Africa by the 12 Anglican and/or Episcopal provinces in Africa (whose membership totals 40 million people). A full-time HIV and AIDS coordinator works with the church leadership on the continent on training and advocacy.

  • The Anglican Children's Project (ACP) based in Lusaka, Zambia, is a community-based outreach program whose goal is to halt the incidence of poverty and destitution of children, including AIDS orphans ending up on the streets. This project is being funded in part by Family Care Foundation.
