The General Assembly of the National Council of Churches and Church World Service met in Iselin, N.J., November 6-8, 2007.

Among the major items of business was the election of officers and the installation of the new NCC President, Archbishop Vicken Aykazian, and the Council's ninth General Secretary, the Rev. Dr. Michael Kinnamon.
