The Faith and Order Commissions of the National Council of Churches USA and the World Council of Churches co-sponsor the first scholar-reviewed journal specifically designed to highlight the academic work of younger theologians engaging ecumenical issues. Its title, New Horizons in Faith and Order, carries a sense of expectation about the future of ecumenical scholarship as well as awareness that the landscape of church relationships is changing - sometimes in unexpected ways. This journal provides a means for new voices to contribute to ongoing dialogue as they grapple with longstanding issues and help others understand new ones.
