November 8-12- The National Council of Churches will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in Cleveland, Ohio, the site of the founding of the Council. The NCC Executive Board, General Assembly and many NCC unit committees and working groups will meet in conjunction with the Anniversary. Preliminary plans include daily worship, Bible study, New Songs for Unity (commissioned by the NCCs member denominations to mark the anniversary), workshops, panels and three major evening presentations:
