Report on the Pillars of Peace Teach-In
You are invited to join in the process of defining new "Pillars of Peace for the 21st Century" addressing these concerns:
A study guide and video on "Pillars of Peace for the 21st Century" will be available at the beginning of 1999 to engage local congregations in a nation-wide process of examining the requirements for global peace and the international institutions that are needed to carry out these requirements. The Pillar of Peace document will be the basis of a new NCC policy statement on the United Nations.
